A Memorable Opening Night: Blending Culture and Friendship
The program commenced with an inspiring cultural exchange evening aboard the Indochina Queen cruise on May 26. In a luxurious and distinctly Vietnamese setting, international experts and lecturers enjoyed traditional cuisine, listened to performances of ethnic musical instruments, and admired the dazzling nighttime skyline of Saigon.

This moment of exchange not only left a deep impression of Vietnamese hospitality but also strengthened the bonds of friendship and openness among delegates, laying a solid foundation for ongoing collaboration throughout the program. With its top-tier design and professional service, Indochina Queen helped create an unforgettable opening night, setting the stage for the meaningful activities of the ASEAN Fellowship Program 2025.
ASEAN Edu Innovation Sprint: Unlocking Educational Innovation in the Digital Age
Building on its momentum, May 27 marked an important highlight with the ASEAN Edu Innovation Sprint workshop, led by Ms. Thanh Tam – Head of the Business Management Program at Saigon Business School (SBS).
The workshop delved into the rapidly evolving landscape of education in the digital era, where technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and changing labor market demands require individuals to constantly innovate, adapt, and embrace lifelong learning. Drawing from the World Economic Forum’s 2023 report, which forecasts that 44% of job skills will change by 2028, the workshop emphasized the critical need to develop adaptability, innovative thinking, and real-world problem-solving abilities.

During the workshop, groups of teachers and experts were empowered to tackle real educational challenges through a “sprint” model, moving from theory to concrete action. Discussions centered around key pillars of ASEAN education: practical relevance, innovation, and meaningful impact. Teams demonstrated professionalism during their five-minute pitch presentations, engaged in peer review and critical feedback, and fostered multidimensional collaboration and critical thinking.

A particularly memorable activity was the hands-on experience of painting Vietnamese conical hats—a symbolic keepsake that captures the cultural values and beautiful memories of this journey.
Concluding these meaningful initial activities, the organizing committee would like to extend its best wishes to all participating experts, lecturers, and members. We believe that the ASEAN Fellowship Program 2025 will offer unforgettable experiences, strengthen collaborative partnerships, and spread the spirit of educational innovation across the region.

May the upcoming events and journeys of all participants be brilliantly successful, so that each experience today becomes a solid stepping stone for the sustainable development of ASEAN education in the future.
