On March 12, Saigon Business School (SBS) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Arden University, including Mr. Landry Lan – Regional Director for Asia-Pacific, Ms. Jenny Zhou – Director of International Recruitment, and Ms. Ivy Nguyen – Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia. During their visit, the delegation held a working session at the SBS office and hosted a sharing session introducing study opportunities in Berlin, Germany for SBS students – one of Europe’s leading destinations for international students, offering a dynamic environment and strong career prospects after graduation.

During the meeting, both institutions discussed and updated the international transfer pathways available to SBS students, with a particular focus on study opportunities at the Berlin campus of Arden University. Under this academic pathway, students at SBS will complete the first two years of their studies in Vietnam, then transfer to Germany to undertake their final year and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from Arden University. Located in the heart of Berlin, the modern campus offers students convenient access to the city’s thriving ecosystem of technology companies, financial institutions, startups, and multinational corporations.

Representatives from Arden University also shared insights into the Bachelor of Business Management programme, which offers three major pathways: Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Tourism. The Berlin campus provides a truly international learning environment with 100% international students and programmes delivered entirely in English, making it especially suitable for students from diverse backgrounds, including Southeast Asia. The programme follows a block teaching model, where students focus on one module at a time, complete the required assessments, and then move on to the next module, with short breaks scheduled between study blocks. The curriculum is aligned with that of Arden University in the United Kingdom, ensuring consistent academic standards for students transferring between campuses.
Students were also introduced to career development opportunities, including career fairs, dedicated career support services, and the opportunity to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week during their studies. In addition, the university provides German language support, helping international students adapt more easily to daily life in Germany and enhance their employability after graduation.

The delegation also shared information about scholarship opportunities and the German student visa process. Eligible students may receive scholarships of up to EUR 3,000, helping to significantly reduce the cost of completing their final year of study in Berlin.
The visit not only strengthened the partnership between SBS and Arden University, but also opened up new international learning opportunities for SBS students in the years ahead.
