Uzbekistan – A Promising Destination for Hospitality Management

The collaboration comes at a time when Uzbekistan’s tourism sector is experiencing rapid expansion. With UNESCO World Heritage cultural sites along the Silk Road such as Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva, combined with the government’s strong pro-tourism policies, Uzbekistan is emerging as one of the rising stars on the global tourism map.

This fast-paced growth has created a pressing demand for highly qualified hospitality professionals equipped with both technical expertise and international perspectives. However, the local talent pool has not yet met the growing needs of the industry. This partnership between SBS and Webster University in Tashkent aims to address that gap by training a new generation of well-prepared professionals ready to succeed in the hospitality sector and contribute to the country’s economic development.
