On November 6, Saigon Business School (SBS) had the honor of welcoming and meeting with the high-level delegation from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), USA. This visit marks an important milestone in expanding international learning opportunities for SBS students.
The SIUE delegation included:

Strengthening Seamless Academic Pathways
The meeting focused on developing and enhancing seamless academic pathways that bring practical benefits to SBS students:
Undergraduate Transfer Program (2+2)
Both parties discussed in detail the implementation of the 2+2 transfer pathway, which allows SBS students to complete their first two years in Vietnam before transferring to SIUE for the final two years to earn a U.S. bachelor’s degree.

Postgraduate Scholarship Opportunities
A significant highlight of the meeting was the discussion on establishing exclusive master’s scholarship packages for SBS students who complete the Bachelor’s Degree program from the University of Sunderland (delivered at SBS, Vietnam) and wish to pursue their graduate studies at SIUE.
SIUE’s Excellence in Business Education
The SIUE School of Business proudly ranks among the top 5% of business schools worldwide accredited by AACSB International, the gold standard and highest level of global accreditation for business education.
Notably, fewer than 25% of AACSB-accredited institutions worldwide also hold the separate AACSB Accounting accreditation.
The School of Business has maintained its AACSB accreditation since 1975, and its Accounting program achieved separate accreditation in 1987, demonstrating decades of sustained academic excellence.
