One of the top concerns for students studying away from home is housing — including location, safety, convenience of transportation, and surrounding amenities. For international students coming to Vietnam, the choice of accommodation also involves complying with legal requirements such as temporary residence registration under local regulations.
Therefore, choosing accommodation is not just about finding a place to live — it’s about ensuring all necessary conditions are met so international students can feel secure, supported, and fully focused on their studies while living in a new country.
So, what kind of housing support do international students at Saigon Business School (SBS) receive? And what makes the SBS Hostel campus environment stand out? Let’s find out.

Support for Temporary Residence Registration – Legal Requirements for International Students
According to Article 33 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam (2014), if a foreign student is temporarily residing in Vietnam, the person or entity managing the accommodation is responsible for declaring the student’s temporary residence to the local authorities.
Required documents include (basic):
- Residence information change declaration form
- Documents proving lawful accommodation (rental agreement, hostel confirmation, etc.)
- A valid passport (usually with at least 13 months of remaining validity)
To ensure compliance, A representative from SBS or a service support partner of SBS will assist students with the procedures.
