Appeal to International Students
Saigon Business School (SBS) – an international training center under EQuest Education Group – recently hosted its first Graduation Ceremony and the Opening Ceremony for the new academic year in a solemn and emotional atmosphere. The inaugural cohort successfully completed their studies at SBS, with 100% of graduates accepted into the final year of bachelor’s programs at leading universities, including the University of Sunderland and the University of Northampton (UK), as well as Deakin University (Australia). Several students, even before graduation, were awarded prestigious scholarships from renowned institutions such as James Cook University (Australia) and the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS).
In the new academic year, SBS welcomes nearly 300 freshmen from Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Nigeria, Malawi, and Sri Lanka to join its multicultural learning community as they begin the 2025–2026 academic journey together.
The sight of 15 flags, representing the presence of students from 15 different countries currently studying at Saigon Business School (SBS), proudly waving during the Opening Ceremony, brought deep emotions to both faculty and students.
“This growing diversity of international students not only reflects SBS’s strong appeal to students worldwide but also reaffirms the school’s core mission of building one of the most diverse international student communities in Vietnam – a place where young people from across the globe come together to learn, grow, and thrive,” shared an SBS representative.

Joint Program with the University of Sunderland (UK)
As part of the event, Saigon Business School also introduced its joint program with the University of Sunderland (UK). Established in 1901 and officially gaining university status in 1992, Sunderland is a prestigious public university in the UK (ranked among the top 30 in the Guardian University Guide 2026), renowned for its student experience, business partnerships, and internationalization.
In his video address to the ceremony, Mr. Francis Chang – Executive Director of the University of Sunderland in Hong Kong – emphasized the importance of global knowledge and encouraged SBS students to continuously nurture a spirit of learning, proactively seize opportunities, and develop themselves in an international environment. He also expressed his hope that the collaboration between the two institutions would become a lasting bridge, enabling SBS students to access high-quality UK education and confidently achieve new milestones in both their studies and careers.

Accordingly, the school is committed to enhancing practical learning by incorporating real-world case studies and corporate projects into the classroom, as well as organizing field trips that allow students to engage with and solve actual business challenges. SBS also pledges to strictly comply with assessment, accreditation, and international standards to ensure the quality of education, while striving to create a happy, inspiring, and experience-rich learning environment.
