SAIGON BUSINESS SCHOOL COORDINATES WITH RANGSIT UNIVERSITY THAILAND FOR THE ASEAN ENGLISH BUDDY PROGRAM07/09/2023
Starting this September, Saigon Business School in collaboration with Rangsit University, Thailand, launches the ASEAN English Buddy Program.
In the program, students from the two schools will be paired into groups (each group has 2 Vietnamese students + 2 Thai students), working together in groups on a certain topic based on the school's suggestions. For example, give a presentation about a famous tourist destination in Vietnam and how to do marketing for that destination to Thai tourists.
Forms of group work are very diverse and simple, it can be regular meetings on Zoom/Google Meet, or chatting with each other via Facebook. As long as you have to interact and exchange with Thai friends and find ways to use English as much as possible.
The groups will be divided according to level, into group A (for the Elementary group) and group B (for the Intermediate group). The final presentation will be recorded as a score in the students' English subject and will be graded by teachers at both schools to select the winning group.
The group winning first prize at each level will be awarded a Study trip to Thailand.
This will be a great opportunity for Vietnamese students to exchange and improve their English through presentations and group exercises related to business & marketing issues.
