Program Overview

The Bachelor's program in Hospitality Management, a partnership between Saigon Business School (SBS) and Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS), is designed to be flexible, providing students with access to world-class education at an affordable cost:

The program consists of 2 stages:

STAGE 1 (IN VIETNAM):

Students will study at SBS for 2 years, including 4 terms of theoretical courses and 2 terms of internships.

The program is taught entirely in English by a team of experienced and dynamic lecturers, all of whom graduated from top hospitality schools worldwide.

The curriculum is continuously updated, closely aligned with industry practices, offering students the opportunity to connect and learn from reputable experts in the hospitality and restaurant sectors.

The "Hospitality" club organizes various activities to help students develop soft skills, specialized knowledge, and professional skills, while also providing a vibrant international exchange environment with peers from diverse countries at SBS.

For students who do not meet the English language entry requirements, the program offers a preparatory English course to help improve their proficiency.

STAGE 2 (IN SWITZERLAND):

Students will continue their studies for 1 year at SHMS, Switzerland.

Upon graduation, students will receive a Bachelor's degree in International Hospitality Management, opening up many career opportunities.

Cô Nguyễn Thị Trúc Đào Chloé

Master of International Hospitality Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS), currently serving as the Head of the Hospitality Management Department and Deputy Director of Training at Saigon Business School (SBS). Ms. Trúc Đào has teaching experience at international schools and professional experience working for both Vietnamese and Swiss companies. With her extensive expertise in the fields of Culinary Arts, Marketing, and Hotel Operations, along with her network of industry leaders and experts, she equips students with the most practical knowledge and skills to succeed in the hospitality management field.

Professor John Daly

Graduating with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Hotel Management, International Tourism, and Education, Professor John A. Daly has had an impressive career journey in the field of education. With experience working at leading educational organizations such as the Swiss Education Group and prestigious hotel schools in Vietnam, he has demonstrated leadership and strategic vision. Currently, as the Regional Director of Training for Asia at SHMS and SEG, Professor Daly is actively contributing to the training and development of high-quality talent for the hospitality industry.

TUITION FEES

The Bachelor’s Program in Hospitality Management is designed as the most optimal pathway for students to pursue transfer study opportunities at SHMS, Switzerland, while saving on educational costs. YEAR 1 & 2 (IN VIETNAM)

Tuition fee: 85,500,000 VND/student (3 semesters/year).
Enrollment fee & international program royalty: 9,600,000 VND/student.

YEAR 3 (IN SWITZERLAND)

In Switzerland, students may choose to stay in on-campus dormitories or off-campus housing depending on their preferences and financial conditions. Below is a reference to the average living expenses in Switzerland that students should budget for:

Accommodation	Dormitories: Approximately 800–1,500 CHF/month. Renting an apartment or sharing a house: Approximately 1,000–2,500 CHF/month, depending on the location and type of accommodation.
Food and Dining	Cooking at home: Approximately 300–500 CHF/month. Dining out: Costs may range from 10–20 CHF per meal at affordable restaurants.
Public Transportation	Public transport passes: Approximately 70–120 CHF/month (depending on the city and frequency of use).
Shopping and Entertainment	Expenses for recreational activities, shopping, or attending events may range from 100–300 CHF/month.

SCHOOLARSHIP

SBS & the Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) offer a variety of scholarships for students enrolling in the Bachelor of Hospitality Management program jointly organized by SBS and SHMS:

For the study phase in Vietnam: Students have the opportunity to receive SBS scholarships covering up to 70% of tuition fees for the entire period of study in Vietnam. Scholarship results depend on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and interview outcomes with the SBS Admissions Committee.
For the study phase in Switzerland: Eligible SBS students transferring to SHMS will be considered for partnership scholarships ranging from 15% to 30% of tuition fees.
