Webinar Sharing with Temasek Polytechnic on Saigon Business School (SBS) Internship Program

On November 6, Saigon Business School (SBS) had the privilege of participating in a webinar hosted by Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore. The session was designed to provide valuable insights for parents interested in SBS’s Overseas Internship Program in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), highlighting the opportunities, support, and growth that their children can experience while interning abroad.

The session began with an introduction by Dr. Hoang Van Cuong, Managing Director of SBS, who detailed the key features of the Overseas Internship Program, from the application process to in-country support. Two current interns, Frances Althea M.Perez (Digital Marketing Intern at SBS) and Orlando Lim (Software Development Intern at Hybrid Technologies) then shared their experiences, explaining how the Internship program helped them grow personally and professionally. Tracy Rozario, the mother of our current Digital Marketing intern Tara D’Souza, wrapped up by sharing her perspective as a parent navigating her initial concerns and how SBS and Temasek Polytechnic supported her family. To close, SBS showcased an informative video that highlighted the unique benefits of our program.

• Orlando (Intern): Despite an internship not directly related to his studies, he developed relevant skills in software development and teamwork.
• Tracy (Parent of Current Intern, Tara): Initially nervous, but felt reassured by the extensive support from SBS and Temasek Polytechnic, confident in the program’s safety and the positive impact on her daughter’s future career.

After the sharing session, attendees watched our internship promotional video, showcasing the exciting opportunities SBS offers in Vietnam. The Overseas Internship Program provides hands-on experience with international companies, helping students develop real-world skills while immersing in Vietnam’s vibrant culture. SBS supports students throughout the process, from personalised placements to assistance with accommodation and visas, ensuring they gain confidence and valuable experience for their future careers.
