EQUEST HAS BEEN AWARDED THE ESG IMPACT SHOWCASE FOR ITS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES.
22/12/2023EQuest Education Group has recently been honored with the Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Impact Showcase Award by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Vietnam. This award recognizes EQuest's sustainable development initiatives aligned with the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals. It marks the second consecutive year that EQuest has received this prestigious award.
EQuest Corporation has received the ESG Impact Showcase Award for its initiatives contributing to sustainable development.
The AmCham Vietnam's ESG Impact Showcase is an annual award that honors businesses and organizations from various industries based on criteria evaluating their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance.
In 2023, it is the second year that AmCham Vietnam has awarded the ESG Impact Showcase to EQuest Corporation.
For EQuest, the ESG Impact Showcase award is a recognition of the corporation's and its member units' contributions through initiatives that promote environmental conservation, solutions with positive social impact, and governance strategies that ensure sustainable values for Vietnam's education sector.
Some notable projects recognized by the judging panel for the award include the English through Math and Science project for primary school students, implemented through the iLink model by iSMART Education (a member of EQuest Corporation) in Mù Cang Chải district (Yên Bái province) and Nam Trực district (Nam Định province). After over a year of implementation, the project has achieved impressive results, such as in Mù Cang Chải, where it has helped over 6,500 students and teachers enhance their English language proficiency through Math and Science subjects. 69.6% of Mù Cang Chải students have successfully completed the English for Science program, and 77.6% have excelled in English for Math. In Nam Trực, 90.5% of students have completed the English for Science program, and 83.5% have completed the English for Math program. These results reflect a significant improvement in English language skills for the students.

The second project supported by EQuest is the School of Well-Being, an education project focused on mental health for students. Over 1,000 students, teachers, staff, and parents from the Alpha Education System have gained access to school-based psychological services. Additionally, they have provided mental health knowledge to thousands of students from public schools in the surrounding area. In July 2023, surpassing 744 primary and secondary schools in the Asian region, the Alpha Education System emerged as the champion in the "AIA Healthiest School" competition at the secondary level in Asia.
The Foreign Language University has awarded iSMART Education with a certification for the evaluation of their blended online and direct instruction model for teaching English, known as the iLINK model.
In addition to creating sustainable value for education, EQuest has made significant contributions to environmental protection and community welfare through various meaningful and beneficial activities. These include: Implementing the Green School project in educational institutions, which involves activities such as tree planting and integrating environmental awareness into the curriculum; Organizing seminars targeting over 5,000 employees, focusing on health, mental well-being, and work-life balance; Collaborating with local authorities in Ho Chi Minh City, Nam Định, and Bến Tre to support 150 underprivileged families with joyful celebrations during the Lunar New Year of 2023.

The students are diligently engaged in learning English through the new teaching method.
The year 2023 marks the 20-year journey of development for EQuest. Being honored once again at the ESG Impact Showcase award has created a significant milestone for EQuest and its member units.
